An optional 20" diameter captain's wheel replaces the standard crank handle.
This models reduced diameter allows for easier access to the press bed without reducing the effect of a larger diameter wheel.
Captains wheels provide the printmaker the ability to keep their back straight while pulling prints. For anyone with a bad back or wanting to prevent back injury this is a very valuable item to have in your tool belt.

This product if purchased as an upgrade to a press that is already in use we will require the customer to send in their gear box, crank, and handle back to Takach Press for modification. If you would like to keep your current gear box and crank there will be an additional charge.
